كاسيوبيا

Casiopea — A first-generation hybrid of Caturra and an Ethiopian wild accession held as ET41 in the CATIE collection, created by a consortium led by CIRAD with the national coffee institutes of Central America. It belongs to the earliest wave of F1 hybrids released to farmers.

Bright florals, citrus and honey sweetness with lively acidity and a clean profile that usually outperforms conventional varieties.

Brewing Tip

Pour-over at 90-92 °C, 1:15-1:16, medium-fine grind with a brisk first pour, to lift florals and bright acidity.
