Bred in Brazil by EPAMIG with the Federal University of Vicosa from a 1980 cross between Catuaí Amarelo IAC 30 and a rust-resistant Timor Hybrid selection, UFV 445-46. Strong vegetative vigour, excellent response to pruning and well suited to mechanised harvesting. Citrus brightness over caramel sweetness with soft to medium acidity - balanced, clean and increasingly stable with tree age.
